Bodyweight Training – Neglect The Pushups, Train The Legs!

Parkour is becoming more and more popular in the United States of American. Ever since 2002 parkour has been rising in popularity. And the question keeps being asked: how do I get started in parkour?

James Bond, aka 007, is one of the most admirable characters in movie history. He is known for being a smooth talker, seducing countless women and killing endless villains, in order to complete his mission. Bond is every woman’s dream and every woman’s nightmare, at the same time. He also has exceptional style.

When I say basic chris luera story I’m talking about the bodyweight exercises you probably learned as a kid in gym class. Or, if you’ve ever seen a military movie, it is the calisthenics exercises the soldiers did in boot camp.

Mixing a variety of moves with a variety of angles will take what may have been very simple, and very short Parkour videos, and turn them into longer, more entertaining videos.

Watch out for liquid calories Pop, sweet drinks, juices and alcohol can add up quickly and take you over your calorie budget without you even noticing. Drink mostly water and spice it up with lemon, lime or orange slices.

There are plenty of reasons to keep playing Brink. You have a two story campaign you can play as Security or Resistance. the story isn’t good but its content. FreePlay is where all of the fun happens. Its multiplayer only with about 400 servers (PC) running at any time. Games range from challenges, objectives and stopwatch with or without customizations. I played through the story on FreePlay with live players cooperatively which was a lot of fun. The best matches are 8 versus 8 Resistance versus Security. It can get intense let me tell ya. Matches are short and usually last 10 minutes if your team is decent. So many unlocks and options Brink has plenty of replay value. After all, it is a multiplayer game at heart with a small single layer tacked on.

MIX IT ALL UP! When you have limited options for several days, you might stop after day two if it’s just too boring or miserable to the same exercise over and over. That’s why I like to mix it up, rotating a few activities continually for at least 30 to 40 minutes at a time. For example, after putting on sweats and sneakers at my mom’s place, I walk the length of her loft, back and forth for about five minutes. Then I walk up and down her flight of stairs for another five minutes. I run in place for five minutes. I go back to the stairs, then walk, run, and keep doing that routine for 30 minutes. At the end, I’ll do some stretching, and abdominal exercises. If I do this every day, I maintain my Fitness level even though I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere for a week or more.

Bear Hug Shouldering. This is the toughest of the bunch and may require some practice, but with a bear hug grip you are going to explode and throw the keg to one shoulder, maintaining your grip. Lower under control and repeat to the opposite side.

Physically tired can mean tired in key areas. By that I mean that in many cases if you can get your eyes tired your body will follow. To tire your eyes you can do some reading, but be sure to read something technical or at least boring, remember we don’t want to be thinking about things at bedtime. Reading a good mystery, or spy novel will get the imagination going. We want to tire our eyes without waking our brain.

Many people practice martial arts because they aren’t very strong and want a different kind of advantage in a fight. While the right techniques do help you out the better shape you’re in the better of you will be. Just because you are learning self defense doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop building up your body. The longer you’re able to fight the greater the chance you will outlast your attacker and win – so keep working out and keep doing your self defense training.
