In this week’s Screen of the Week article, I talked about earnings surprises and how you can take advantage of them after a company reports. But in this piece I want to talk about how you can trade the potential for an earnings surprise (or any big event for that matter) before it happens and without having to worry about whether you guessed correctly or not. With strangles and straddles you can do just that.
There could be various reasons you don’t have a credit history. Maybe you’re fresh out of high school. Maybe you only use cash, and never needed a loan. Most likely, if you have no credit history, your FICO score will be low.
The first thing that you need to remember is to review your credit history. You should check the Annual Report Design and see if there are any errors or missing information, as this is of vital importance if you are applying for bad credit car loans. Also, it is never too late to change the quality of your credit scores. Credit scores can be improved if you take the necessary steps to clean up your finances and work out a budget before choosing the type of car that you want to have.
Individual investors have a huge advantage over mutual fund managers and institutional investors, in that they can invest in small and even MicroCap companies the big kahunas couldn’t touch without violating SEC or corporate rules.
Study the balance sheet and company annnual report of the company that’s caught your interest. At the very least, know how much you’re paying for the company’s earnings, how much debt it has, and what its cash flow picture is like. Read the latest news stories on the company and make sure you are clear on why you expect the company’s earnings to grow.
The club ended rather badly with arguments and falling outs. Several years later it still has a couple of holdings in shares that might ‘one day turn around’. Fat chance!!!!
In brief, work on the college paper; get an internship at an Ad agency or a corporate communications department. Your English degree qualifies you for a lot of writing jobs – but you gotta have writing samples.
